Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has taken to Facebook on Saturday, March 7, to advise his Teck Ghee residents in Ang Mo Kio to cooperate with contact tracers following news of eight new Covid-19 cases.

One of the COVID-19 cases announced this evening regularly took part in group activities at Teck Ghee Residents’ Committee Zone J.
The Ministry of Health, Singapore is conducting contact tracing. Identified contacts will be quarantined or put on phone surveillance. MOH needs to talk to all the members of this group in Zone J. So if they approach you, do cooperate with them and share information fully.
In response to the SAFRA Jurong cluster, additional precautions will be implemented from today to reduce the risk of transmission. Details can be found here: http://bit.ly/2wFaMWE

14-day suspension of activities
MOH said persons in the Safra Jurong cluster on Feb. 15 were involved in singing activities and classes organised by the People’s Association (PA) at several community clubs (CCs) and residents’ committees (RCs).
As a precautionary measure to reduce the transmission of Covid-19, there will be a 14-day suspension of all activities and classes attended by the confirmed cases linked to the Safra Jurong cluster at the affected community clubs and residents’ committees, starting from March 7.
