Two new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in Singapore today, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 108.

In all, 78 have fully recovered from the infection and have been discharged from hospital.

Of the 30 confirmed cases who are still in hospital, most are stable or improving. Six are in critical condition in the intensive care unit.

Case 107 was in Jakarta

Among the cases announced today was a 68-year-old female Singapore Citizen who has no recent travel history to China, Daegu and Cheongdo. She is linked to Case 94, who had reported onset of symptoms on Feb. 11.

She had, however, been in Jakarta, Indonesia from Feb. 11 to Feb. 14.

She reported onset of symptoms two days after her return, on Feb. 16, and had sought treatment at two general practitioner (GP) clinics.

She went to Tan Tock Seng Hospital on Feb. 27 and subsequently tested positive on March 1.

Prior to hospital admission, she had mostly stayed at her home at Bishan Street 13.

She is linked to Case 94.

Case 94

Case 94 is a 64 year-old female Singapore Citizen who has no recent travel history to China, Daegu and Cheongdo. She is currently warded in an isolation room at Singapore General Hospital (SGH).

She reported onset of symptoms on Feb. 11 and had sought treatment at a general practitioner (GP) clinic on Feb. 17, 20, and 24.

She was referred to SGH on Feb. 24 and immediately isolated. Subsequent test results confirmed COVID-19 infection on Feb. 26 afternoon.

Prior to hospital admission, she had mostly stayed at her home in the Jalan Jurong Kechil area.
