This is not a joke.

Singtel WiFi has been made available at 2,000 access points including MRT trains and stations as well as shopping malls.

Always good for Singtel users who risk paying S$10 for every 1GB of data that they exceed.

Sadly, Singtel WiFi will no longer be available for some users after April. 1, 2020.

In fact, Singtel WiFi has been gradually phased out since Jan. 31, 2020 for some.

All broadband users and those who re-contract or sign plans with Singtel from Jan. 31 onwards will also not be entitled to this service.

However, for Combo 3 and Combo 6 users, you will get an additional 1 GB while XO Combo users will also get additional data ranging from 5GB to 20GB on top of free data on weekends, according to the Singtel website.

As for the rest, you can still continue to surf the internet on Singtel 4G network or via Wireless@SG hotspots, Singtel added.

According to Singtel, this will not affect existing customers.

For now.
