One's birth story will always be memorable to them.

But this birth story probably takes the cake.

Memorable birth story

On Feb. 26, Sindhu RK celebrated her son's six month birthday by sharing his birth story on Facebook.

Sindhu recalled that on the midnight of Aug. 26 last year, she was doing her house chores as per normal.

Before calling it a night, she did a full squat to kiss her dog, Baron.

However, she said that she knew she was in trouble when she stood up after the kiss.

"I could feel (that) I ruptured something in me. Contractions started immediately at 12:55am."

Getting into a Jeep

She woke her husband up at 1:10am after her contractions grew from 10 minutes to 5 minutes apart.

10 minutes later, they were already in their family car: A Jeep.

As the Jeep is a rather tall car, Sindhu broke her water bag while attempting to get into the car.

She also believes that getting into the car may have sped up the labour process.

Gave birth in car

As this was her second child, she knew that she was going to give birth in the car.

To prepare for the birth, she lined her car seat with a shawl and tried to hold her son in for as long as she can.

Sindhu tried not to push at first, but in the end, she had to follow her instincts and gave birth in the car:

"So for the next and the following contraction, I just had to trust my gut and pushed and there he came, after two pushes."

But that wasn't the end of her birth story.

After pushing her son out, he didn't cry for the first 30 seconds.

It was only after Sindhu started wailing hysterically in the car did he shriek and started crying too.

Phew.

Arrived at hospital 20 minutes later

The family only arrived at the hospital 20 minutes after she gave birth.

According to Sindhu, they had an "entourage" waiting at the hospital, including a midwife, several nurses and security guards.

Her husband also apparently cut the umbilical cord at the entrance of the hospital.

Most importantly, Sindhu and her newborn baby were also found to be healthy.

Interesting detail on birth certificate

The couple decided to aptly name their son James Arjuna McQueen.

According to Sindhu's post, Arjuna means warrior.

And no, he wasn't named McQueen because he was born on the highway. Sindhu explained that her husband is a fan of American actor and race car enthusiast Steve McQueen.
