Hand sanitisers are a precious commodity in these times.

Masks and hand sanitisers have been in high demand islandwide.

And as a precious commodity in a virus outbreak, it is unsurprising that news of hand sanitisers being in stock would gain some traction.

Hand sanitiser at OG Albert

Yesterday (Feb. 18), OG Singapore put out a Facebook post saying that their OG Albert branch will be stocking hand sanitiser.

The 1-litre SaniFAST hand sanitiser will retail for S$19.90, and they have 1,000 bottles in stock.

The 500ml version is out of stock, they clarified.

The hand sanitiser will be available from Feb. 19, 5:30pm onwards, at the cashier counter along the covered walkway at Waterloo Street.

The stocks are available on a first-come first-served basis, and will be limited to two bottles per customer.

OG Singapore also added that queue tags will be issued from 5pm onwards as they join the queue. Each tag will entitle the customer to purchase two bottles.

The two per person rule is an even more stringent measure than earlier this week.

A sale on Monday for the same hand sanitisers allowed four bottles per customer, but those were quickly snapped up.

This is their Facebook post for today:

Queue outside OG

And it appears that a queue formed even before 5pm.

According to a photo uploaded to a Hardwarezone forum thread at 3:46pm earlier today, a queue had already formed outside OG at least two hours before the sale started.

Wow.
