One Porsche driver apparently got into an accident involving a taxi on Feb. 13.

But instead of going down the route of getting the taxi driver to compensate in full for the repairs, the Porsche driver decided to "move on" and accept only S$1 for the damage.

In a Facebook post on the day of the minor accident, the Porsche driver Fed Wu explained that his day started off with the accident, resulting in scratches on his car:

Despite this unpleasant incident, Wu said that the taxi driver readily admitted to the mistake and "no argument" took place between them.

They also apparently exchanged contact details to work out payment regarding the repairs.

According to chat screenshots, it appeared that the taxi driver originally transferred the Porsche driver S$200.

However, the Porsche driver said that he managed to get the repairs done at a cheaper rate.

He also acknowledged that driving a taxi during this period is "hard and high risk".

Hence, he decided to transfer S$199 back to the taxi driver.

Wu also showed a screenshot of the transfer.

The taxi driver expressed his appreciation and agreed with Wu saying that times are hard now, but he still needs to make a living.
