Pewdiepie is back from his month-long hiatus from making videos on YouTube.

Longest break in 10 years

After uploading a video on Jan. 16, 2020, Felix Kjellberg, YouTube's top creator with over 100 million subscribers, announced that he was going on an indefinite break.

After taking 36 days off, Kjellberg uploaded a new video on Feb. 21 (U.K. time), calling time on his hiatus.

It was the longest break the YouTuber had taken since he started uploading videos in 2009.

"I haven't done much. It's been nice, actually," Kjellberg said in his video.

According to Kjellberg, he was in Japan during his time away, where he owns a house with his wife, Marzia Kjellberg.

Of course, he was also aware of the virus going around, and bought three boxes of masks.

Back with daily content

The YouTuber said in his video that he was ready to upload videos daily again, although he wasn't fully sure.

"I will try at least, I don't know. We'll see," Kjellberg chuckled.

"I think it's been really healthy and good for me to take this break, and I appreciate everyone's patience while I was gone."

Kjellberg briefly announced in a video on Dec. 14, 2019 that he would be taking a break in early 2020.
