As of Feb. 23, there are no new cases of Covid-19 in Singapore.
51 patients have also been discharged.
According to an MOH release on Feb. 23, more information has been released on Case 89, which was announced on Saturday (Feb. 22).
Case 89
He is a 41-year-old male Singapore Permanent Resident, with no recent travel history to China.
He reported an onset of symptoms on Feb. 3 and had sought treatment at two general practitioner (GP) clinics five times on Feb. 3, 7, 10, 17 and 21.
He is currently warded in an isolation room at the National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID).
He was confirmed to be infected on Feb. 22 morning.
As of Feb. 23, he has no established links to other cases or existing clusters.
Works at Temasek Boulevard, stays at Serangoon
Prior to hospital admission, he had gone to work at Affinity Equity Partners (S) Pte Ltd located at 8 Temasek Boulevard.
He also visited Bishan Community Club (51 Bishan Street 13).
He stays at Serangoon Avenue 3.
Earlier today, a gym at Bishan CC had announced that one of their members had tested positive for Covid-19.
They also added that their Bishan gym will be closed until further notice.
