Covid-19 update: No new cases in S'pore, 2 more discharged

The number of people still in hospital stands at 38.

The Ministry of Health (MOH) reported on Feb. 23 that there were no new cases of the Covid-19 virus infection.

In further good news, two people had recovered enough to be discharged from hospital.

This means that the number of confirmed cases in Singapore stands at 89.

38 patients are currently being treated for the virus. Most are stable or improving. 51 have been discharged.

However, five patients remain in a critical condition in the intensive care unit.

Bishan community club

MOH reported that patient 89 was referred to the NCID on Feb. 21, and tests confirmed the infection on Feb. 22.

MOH stated that the patient had visited Bishan Community Club and lives at Serangoon Avenue 3.
